I have two food posts to write up, but I'm lazy. Also, I just realized (via Twitter) that it's
The Nail Files 1st Anniversary so I had to link-up. Plus, I got my new nail tape in the mail today and trying it out was a good distraction from baking. We leave for Mexico in 94 days and I'm not feeling beach ready yet. Despite me eating three (mini) cupcakes (that I have yet to blog) for breakfast on New Years Day (Happy New Year, btdub), I decided to join
For Love of A Cupcake for #nocupcakesJAN. I've been meatless for just over two months now and haven't felt any different. That's because even though I cut out meat, I upped my baked goods intake. So counterproductive.
Back to my nails. I got distracted.
So, I decided I needed this
nail tape after I saw
Franish do this
bow manicure last month (check out all her manicures - I always look to her blog for inspiration). It ships from Hong Kong so it took a couple weeks to show up, but it's like $1.60 & worth the wait. It was really easy to apply, especially my left hand (I'm right handed) & I think it looks really cool. We'll see how it holds up. I used it under my top coat so it should be fine.

Wow that is really nice! I have never gotten the hang of nail art, the most I can do alone is an accent nail!
