Frozen Yogurt Bites are a fun snack for toddlers and are simple to make using ALDI Little Journey baby food pouches.
Julia is quite the opinionated toddler. She’s quick to tell me if she doesn’t like something or if I’m doing something wrong. She tells me, “be gentle!” every time I brush her hair. She’s typically not too picky about eating but yesterday she asked for a sandwich with “pickles, mustard, and ice cream”. I’m having to get a bit more creative about her snacks to keep her interested.
FROZEN YOGURT BITES
Yesterday, we took a trip to ALDI. I’ve heard my blog friends rave about it (Domestic Superhero and Tastes of Lizzy T, lately) but I had never been. There is one a few miles from our old house and they’re building one semi-close to our new house, but right now, we’re somewhat in the middle. The whole “quarter for a cart” was entirely new to us but now I get why I’ve seen those cute keychains floating around Pinterest.
Anyway, once we got in, I was thoroughly impressed. Tons of organic options for much less than I’m used to paying. I’m excited for the new location to open near me.
We swung down the baby aisle to check out their new line called Little Journey. They have over 50 really reasonably priced baby items – formula, puffs, diapers, wipes, pouches – basically everything parents need.
Julia is past formula and diapers, but she still loves fruit/veggie/yogurt pouches and what mom doesn’t need wet wipes? On our way home, we stopped at a park and the Little Journey Wipes immediately came in handy for an after-play wipe down. Then headed home to make her a snack.
These yogurt bites are really quick, you just have to allow a bit of time for freezing but she was happy to play with Playdoh while she waited. Pouch flavors will vary by store but we picked up Apple Banana Strawberry with Yogurt and Apple Banana Raspberry with Yogurt and she loved them both.
