They’re way better at the game than I am. Like I said, they’re 4 (almost 5) and 6 (almost 7).
How cute are these Smurfs gummies? Not only are they cute, they’re delicious. They’re from Five Below and were one of our party treats.
On to the game. The premise of it is Gargamel, and the Naughties he created, smurfnapped Smurfette so you have to try to get her back. You can be several of the Smurfs (I chose Grouchy) and they each have different “powers”. Grouchy can smash rocks. You travel through the levels (there’s over 30) and collect as many smurfberries as you can. There’s also different portals – Enchanted Forest, Spooky Woods, Paris, Arctic Tundra, etc. It reminded me of old school Mario Brothers, which I can handle. It’s definitely geared towards kids, which is a nice change in our house (the Mr. plays a lot of Call of Duty).
The boys had no trouble picking it up at all and had a lot of fun playing it. Seriously, they’re way better than I am. They really liked that they could pick whichever character they wanted to be for each level. And they especially loved Vanity’s power of freezing in place.
Up to 4 players can play at the same time (or 5 if you are playing on the Wii U).
The Smurfs 2 movie also comes out today and we’re looking forward to seeing it. Are you a Smurfs lover?
