Meet Charlie and Ray, brothers, and my first born babies. To celebrate their 11th birthday (today!), I’m going to compile some of the ways I’ve realized I’m a crazy cat lady.
First off, I know & celebrate my cats birthday. They are my first born children and very important to me. I may not throw a party every year, but I do remember and acknowledge their birthdays. Usually with photo shoots & memes.
I may have taken them for professional photos for their baby pics. I may also still carry these pics in my wallet, 11 years later.
I may leave the bathroom sink on a very slight drip at all times because they prefer to drink out of the faucet than a bowl. They also used to love to lay in the sink before they outgrew it.
Before Baby Girl came around, I may have had photo shoots with them when I got bored on lazy Sunday nights. Such handsome boys.
But mostly, I do my best to keep them happy and healthy. I had no idea that Rachael Ray had a pet food line, Nutrish, but when I heard about it and the fact that it is made with real whitefish, has no grains or fillers, no meat by-products, and no artificial colors/flavors/preservatives, I was excited to try it. I’ve been a fan of Rachael Ray’s for years but the fact that she devoted her time to bringing a premium pet food to grocery stores, using recipes she inspired, and her proceeds go to her foundation, Rachael’s Rescue, to help shelter pets, I like her even more.
Ray gets just as excited about happy mail as I do.
Baby Girl helped them play with the fishy toy.
Ready to dig in. But, when starting a new food, you need to slowly mix it in with whatever food they’re used to eating so they can easily transition.
They seriously loved it. And I love that I’m giving them food that’s good for them. Whitefish is a highly digestible protein that helps maintain strong muscles. They’re no spring chickens and I’ve got to keep them healthy.
So, are you a cat lover? Do you have Crazy Cat Lady tendencies? I’d love to hear about them!
Happy 11th Birthday, Charlie & Ray!! <3

This is great! I’ll have to tell my friend about this. She’s got 3 cats and I know one of them is really overweight. It will probably be much more nutritious and good for them.
Cats are so expressive and have unusual and unique personalities!
