PERSNICKETY PLATES

STEP 1

Combine the cottage cheese, egg, Parmesan cheese, garlic, parsley, salt and pepper.

STEP 2

Spray a slow cooker with non-stick spray and pour 2 cups of marinara sauce in. Pour 1/3 of the ziti noodles on top.

STEP 3

Spoon 1/3 of the cottage cheese mixture over the ziti. Repeat layers, ending with sauce over the top.

STEP 4

Cover and cook on low  for 4 hrs. 30 minutes before the cook time is up, sprinkle mozzarella over the top!

STEP 5

Cook an additional 30 minutes without the lid. Turn the slow cooker to warm and let pasta set.
