PERSNICKETY PLATES

Mix the butter, corn syrup, and almond extract. Add in powdered sugar and knead together.

Roll the dough into balls, then flatten the balls to form discs. Place a cherry into each and wrap it.

Dip the dough-covered cherries one at a time. Lay on the prepared baking sheet.

Press the flat side of the chocolate Kiss onto the opposite end of the stem for the head.

Add the almond ears, candy nose and eyes as directed below!

Refrigerate until ready  to serve.
