Big Boy Fresh Strawberry Pie

This vintage strawberry pie is a copycat version of the one you’d find at a Big Boy restaurant 👉

Full of fresh strawberries & strawberry Jell-O, this easy recipe is perfect for  summer months!

total Time: 2 HRS 25 MIN

Ingredients

Prepare a 9-inch pie shell – homemade or  store bought!  Bake & set it aside to cool.

Step 1

In a small saucepan, mix the cold water, sugar & cornstarch. Bring to a boil, whisking constantly, until thickened & the sugar is dissolved.

SteP 2

Remove the pan from the heat, add in the strawberry jello.

Step 3

Stir until dissolved. Set it aside to cool!

Then, clean and slice the strawberries. Place strawberries into the cooled crust.

Step 4

Finally, pour the strawberry mixture over the fresh strawberries& move to the fridge to set, which will take approximately 2-3 hours.

Step 5

When ready to serve, slice & top with whipped cream!
