PERSNICKETY PLATES

– All purpose flour – Granulated white sugar – Cold butter – Baking powder – Eggs – Vanilla extract – Cream cheese – Zest of a lemon – Fresh raspberries – Reserved crumb mixture – Cinnamon

STEP 1

In a bowl, add the flour, sugar, and salt and mix. Cut in the butter.Β  Remove one cup to use as crumb top later.Β 

STEP 2

To the remaining mixture, add in the baking powder, milk, eggs, and vanilla and beat. In another bowl, make the cream cheese mixture.

STEP 3

Pour the mixture into your baking dish. Sprinkle over raspberries. Pour over the cream cheese mixture.Β 

STEP 4

Sprinkle over the reserved crumb mixture as directed. Bake for 45 mins. Let cool on a cooling rack before slicing!
