STEP 1

Trim the chicken and pound them thin. Mix the salt, pepper, flour, and parmesan cheese. Press chicken into the mixture to coat both sides.

STEP 2

In a skillet over medium-high heat, add the olive oil and butter. Add the chicken and cook for 3-4 minutes per side.

STEP 3

Saute the shallot in a pan for 2 minutes. Add the garlic and heat. Turn the heat to medium-low, pour in the chicken broth.

STEP 4

Stir in the lemon juice and zest. Add the remaining butter and capers. Add the chicken to the pan, flipping to coat with the sauce.

STEP 5

Serve over pasta and top with fresh parsley.
