PERSNICKETY PLATES

Smooth, rich turkey gravy can be made in advance so you don't need to wait on the turkey to finish cooking to make the gravy with drippings!

Lay the vegetables in the bottom of the baking dish & top with the turkey legs. Add butter mixture over this. 

STEP 1

Roast for 45 minutes - we're just looking to brown the turkey & veggies at this stage.

STEP 2

Transfer the legs, veggies, & pan juices to a large pot. Pour in the remaining ingredients & simmer for 1 hr. 

STEP 3

Pour the mixture through a strainer. Then combine butter & flour in another pan.

STEP 4

Whisk in the stock, cooking till the gravy is thick & bubbly. 

STEP 5

Pour the creamy gravy into a gravy boat and serve with the thanksgiving turkey!
