PERSNICKETY PLATES

Combine the dry ingredients in a stand mixer. Add in the olive oil and water and beat.

With the dough hook attachment, knead the mixture for about 5 minutes.

Form into a ball. Place in a greased bowl and roll it around. Cover and let  it rise for 30-40 minutes.

Transfer to a floured surface and roll out a rectangle about 1/2″ thick. Cut into 16 strips.

Roll each strip into a rope, then fold the ends towards one another to tie into a knot.

Place onto the prepared baking sheet. Cover for another rise. They should double in size again

Bake the knots for 12-15 minutes. While they are still warm, brush them with the garlic butter.
