Ingredients

  • 12 Rhodes dinner rolls thawed but cold
  • 3 Tb salted butter melted
  • 1 teaspoon dried parsley
  • 1 teaspoon minced garlic
  • flour for rolling

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 350 degrees and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Flour a clean work surface and lay out your 12 Rhodes dinner rolls.
  • Use a rolling pin to roll the dough into a large circle (or square, or rectangle). Shape doesn't matter as much as you want the dough to be about 1/4" thick.
  • Use your favorite holiday cookie cutters (try to keep them similar in size) to cut out shapes. I used a star, a snowman, and a gingerbread man. Lay the cut-outs onto your prepared baking sheet.
  • Bake the rolls for 10-12 minutes or until just golden.
  • While the rolls are baking, melt the butter in a microwave safe bowl then stir in the garlic and parsley. Mix together.
  • Immediately after removing the rolls from the oven (be careful, they're hot!), brush each with the butter mixture.
  • If desired, sprinkle with additional parsley then let cool on the pan before moving to your dinner table.
