Christmas Shaped Garlic Herb Rolls are a fun and festive way to put a twist on the traditional roll for your holiday dinners and a perfect way to let your little helpers get involved in the kitchen!
Preheat your oven to 350 degrees and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Flour a clean work surface and lay out your 12 Rhodes dinner rolls.
Use a rolling pin to roll the dough into a large circle (or square, or rectangle). Shape doesn't matter as much as you want the dough to be about 1/4"-1/2" thick and even.
Use your favorite holiday cookie cutters (try to keep them similar in size) to cut out shapes. I used a star, a snowman, and a gingerbread man. Lay the cut-outs onto your prepared baking sheet.
Bake the rolls for 10-12 minutes or until just golden.
While the rolls are baking, melt the butter in a microwave safe bowl then stir in the garlic and parsley. Mix together.
Immediately after removing the rolls from the oven (be careful, they're hot!), brush each with the butter mixture.
If desired, sprinkle with additional parsley then let cool on the pan before moving to your dinner table.
Notes
How many rolls you make will depend on the size of your cookie cutters.Store leftovers in an airtight bag for up to a few days. They're best when reheated.
