Ingredients
3-5poundcorned beefincluding seasoning packet
1-2poundssmall potatoes
2cupsbaby carrots
1head of cabbagecut into quarters
1cupof water
Instructions
Place the beef brisket on the bottom of the slow cooker.
Add the potatoes and carrots around the beef.
Sprinkle on the seasoning packet then add in the water.
Cover and cook on LOW for 8-9 hours or on HIGH for 5-6 hours.
One hour before serving, add in the quartered cabbage.
Serve and enjoy!
Notes
You should allow for 3/4 lb of beef per person. How large your brisket is will determine how many servings you end up with. This recipe works for up to a 5lb brisket.Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for 3-4 days.Leftovers can be frozen and eaten within 6 months. Cabbage will not freeze well.
