Slow Cooker Bacon Wrapped Little Smokies
Bacon Wrapped Little Smokies are a crowd favorite and the best part is, you only need FOUR ingredients to make this easy appetizer in the crock pot.

bacon

cocktail sausages
"lil smokies"
1 ¾
cup
brown sugar

tablespoon
paprika
Instructions
Cut each slice of bacon into 3 pieces.

Wrap a piece of bacon around each sausage & secure the bacon into the sausage with a toothpick.
16 Ounces cocktail sausages
To a small bowl, combine the brown sugar and paprika and sprinkle 1 cup into the bottom of a 6 qt slow cooker.
1 ¾ cup brown sugar,
½ tablespoon paprika
Add the sausages to the bottom of the slow cooker and sprinkle the remaining brown sugar mixture over the top.
Cover and cook on HIGH for 3 hours, stirring occasionally so they brown evenly.
Remove from slow cooker and serve!
Notes
The sausages touching the sides of the slow cooker tend to brown faster, so stirring is important to allow all to brown.
As the sausages cool they will get sticky which is what you want!
You can use any kind of cocktail sausages, pork, beef or turkey.
A sprinkle of Cajun seasoning adds a kick!
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days.
Cook as directed, then
freeze on a foil-lined baking sheet
until solid (about 2 hours).
