Iconic Big Mac flavors wrapped in crispy egg roll wrappers - these Big Mac egg rolls are easy to make in your air fryer and are the perfect lunch, dinner, or appetizer!
To a large skillet over medium-high heat, add the ground beef and onion. Season with salt and pepper, breaking apart as it cooks until fully browned and no longer pink.
Once cooked, turn off the heat and drain any grease, if necessary.
Add in the mustard, ketchup, and worcestershire sauce. Stir to fully combine and set aside to cool for approximately 5 minutes.
To a clean flat surface, lay out an egg roll wrapper into a diamond shape and place a small bowl of water nearby.
Lay a slice of cheese in the center. Top with approximately 2 tablespoons of the beef mixture and a sprinkle of the chopped pickles.
Dip a finger into the water and wet the edge of the wrapper.
Fold the bottom of the diamond up, tuck in both ends, and roll up tightly. Place seam side down on a plate as you assemble the rest of the egg rolls.
Working in batches, place 4-5 egg rolls into the basket of the air fryer. Do not overcrowd. Spray them with avocado oil and cook for 6 minutes at 390° F.
Use tongs to flip, spray again with more avocado oil, sprinkle with sesame seeds and cook for another 4 minutes or until golden.
To make the sauce
To a small bowl, whisk together the mayo, mustard, ketchup, apple cider vinegar, and paprika.
Notes
Store leftovers covered in the fridge for up to 3 days.
I recommend reheating in the air fryer.
American or cheddar cheese slices can be used.
Dried onion can be used in place of diced onion.
I use a 5.8 quart air fryer and fit 5-6 egg rolls per batch.
I use a medium cookie scoop to easily portion the ground beef.
For variation, add chopped cooked bacon or diced jalapenos to the beef mixture.
DEEP FRY INSTRUCTIONS If you prefer to deep fry, heat 1” of vegetable oil in a deep skillet over medium high heat. Once hot, add the egg rolls, without overcrowding the pan. Fry for 1 minute on each side or until golden brown. Drain on paper towels and sprinkle with sesame seeds.
