Frozen Chocolate Dipped Bananas
Frozen chocolate dipped bananas are as easy to make as they are to eat! Take ripe sweet bananas coat them in melted chocolate and add your favorite toppings. Allow them to freeze and set for a tasty frozen treat both kids and adults love!

Ingredients

large
bananas
ripe but still firm
12
popsicle sticks
10
ounces
dark chocolate chips
or other high quality dark chocolate
Optional toppings
nuts, pecans, sprinkles, toasted coconut, mini chocolate chips, etc.
Instructions
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper, wax paper, or silicone mats and set aside.
Peel the bananas, cut them in half, and slide a popsicle stick in each end.
6 large bananas,
12 popsicle sticks
In a microwave safe bowl, add the chocolate chips and heat in 20 second intervals, stirring between each, until melted and smooth.
10 ounces dark chocolate chips
Dip each banana in the melted chocolate, swirling to fully coat. Let excess drip off and sprinkle on any toppings.

Lay onto the prepared baking sheet and repeat until out of bananas.
Move the baking sheet to the freezer for at least 4 hours.
Serve & enjoy!
Notes
Use a double boiler for best results, or microwave in short bursts to avoid burning.
Chop chocolate bars into small pieces for faster, even melting.
Add a few drops of almond, vanilla, mint, or orange extract.
Dip bananas before chocolate starts to harden—reheat for 10 seconds if needed.
Dip whole, halfway, or slice bananas into medallions for bite-size treats.
Freeze dipped bananas and store extras in a freezer-safe container or bag.
