This slow cooker pizza dip is warm, cheesy, and loaded with classic pizza flavor in every scoop. Made with melty mozzarella, pepperoni, and rich marinara sauce, it’s an easy crockpot appetizer that’s perfect for game day, parties, or anytime you need a crowd-pleasing dip.
To a medium mixing bowl, add the cream cheese, sour cream, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, and salt. Use a hand mixer on medium-low to blend until smooth.
16 ounces cream cheese, ½ cup sour cream, 2 teaspoons Italian seasoning, 1 teaspoon garlic powder, ½ teaspoon salt
Add in the parmesan and 2 cups of the mozzarella. Continue mixing until combined.
½ cup grated Parmesan cheese, 2 cups mozzarella cheese
Use a spatula to spread the cheese mixture evenly into the basin of a 4-quart or larger slow cooker.
Carefully spread the pizza sauce over the cream cheese mixture and top it with the remaining mozzarella cheese.
1 ½ cups pizza sauce, 1.51 cups mozzarella cheese
Evenly place the pepperonis across the top.
10-12 pepperonis
Cover and cook on HIGH for 2 hours or on LOW for 4 hours.
Garnish with chopped basil and turn the slow cooker to WARM for serving.
Fresh chopped basil for garnish
Notes
I recommend using at least a 4 quart slow cooker.
Cream cheese should be at room temperature before starting so it will mix easily without lumps.
Freshly grated/shredded mozzarella will provide the creamiest texture, but bagged cheese will also work.
Easily customize with your favorite toppings - diced bell peppers, mushrooms, black olives, cooked & crumbled sausage or bacon, etc.
