HOW TO DYE EASTER EGGS WITH KOOL-AID
By Persnickety Plates
"My kids loved making these and the eggs weren't stained like regular dye does."
Hard boiled eggs
Cups & spoons
Dissolve each packet
Pour each packet of Kool-Aid in 2/3 cup water. Stir until dissolved.
One packet per cup
Pour each packet of Kool-Aid in 2/3 cup water. Stir until dissolved. Mixing colors is fun.
Soak the eggs
The longer you let them soak, the more vibrant the colors will be.
Let eggs dry on paper towel or in a clean egg carton.
Colors match Kool-Aid Man's cup color, NOT packet color.
We did not notice any change in taste to the eggs, nor did it dye the actual egg (just the shell).
