I have a lot of cookie recipes. Like, a lot. Diving into a vintage cookie cookbook is one of my favorite things to do.
Soft and thick snickerdoodles, browned butter oatmeal, a single-serve chocolate chip when I just need one, and quite a few cake mix shortcuts because they actually work.
I don’t believe in fancy. I believe in cookies that bake up the same every time, hold their shape, and don’t require chilling overnight unless I say so. Pull up a chair, your cookie jar will be full by the end of the day.

Soft & Chewy Ginger Snaps
I’m of the opinion that a ginger snap should be soft and chewy. Hold the snap. I don’t think i’m alone in this opinion because these are VERY highly rated. Don’t save them for Christmas, these deserve to be made all year long.
