With summer in full force, I know the last thing we want to do is stand in a hot kitchen for dinner. That’s why I’m sharing some of my favorite summer crockpot meals! I’ve even included a few desserts for those that have a sweet tooth (ahem…me).
Summer is so busy and by the time we get home, we are exhausted. Add in the fact that it’s been super hot lately… well, standing over a stove or heating up an oven is not my idea of a good time.
WHAT TO COOK IN THE CROCKPOT FOR SUMMER
I love crockpot recipes, especially during the summer. You can prepare it in the morning before you head out and then when you get home, you have a delicious dinner! Or if it’s dessert you’re after, it’s a great way to have something sweet and delicious without turning on that hot oven.
The recipes I’ve included are great for summer and do not sacrifice taste at all! They’re all full of flavor, delicious, and recipes you’ll return to again and again – even after summer is over. I am CERTAIN you will be begging for seconds after you taste these!

Crock Pot Creamy Tuscan Garlic Chicken by Wholesome Yum: I love me a good tuscan chicken recipe and this is no exception. Perfect flavor combination that will make your taste buds go wild!
Crock Pot Apple Pudding Cake by Bunny’s Warm Oven: Nothing says summer like a delicious apple! This pudding cake is so full of that sweet delicious apple taste, you’re sure to be running back for more.
Crock Pot Chicken Alfredo We’ve tried a few different pastas with this such as rotini or even bowtie. No matter what pasta you choose, it comes out full of flavor and ready for you to devour.
Crock Pot Cheesy Chicken by Great Grub Delicious Treats: You can never get enough cheese and this dish will surely satisfy your cheesy cravings. The flavors are pretty perfect and it’s a great weeknight dinner!
Crock Pot Cherry Pie Oatmeal by I Don’t Have Time for That: The only thing better than oatmeal is oatmeal that doubles as dessert. The cherry flavor against the oats is so perfect – even better with a dollop of cool whip! You might want to double this recipe for good measure, ha.
Crock Pot Chicken Noodle Soup by The Typical Mom: Chicken noodle soup isn’t just for when you’re sick, you know. This is such a delicious soup recipe that we love to make on regular occasion. If you’re a chicken noodle fan, this will be your go to from here on out!
Crockpot Ribs by The Bewitchin’ Kitchen: It wouldn’t be summer without some ribs. Who knew they would come out so moist and flavorful in the crockpot? Welllll, they do. You better grab some quick, because these will be gone in a blink.
Crock Pot Stuffed Peppers by Baking Beauty: Stuffed peppers are some of my favorite recipes during the summer. This one is soooo easy to make, too. Nothing too complicated is involved and the flavors are on point!

Italian Crockpot Chicken by High Heels and Grills: I saw this recipe and as soon as I saw the words ‘italian’ and ‘chicken’, I knew I had to try it. Let me just say, I wasn’t disappointed in the slightest. It’s a winning recipe from where I stand!
Slow Cooker Salsa Pork by Mashup Mom: If you love anything salsa, you will love this recipe. I go crazy over a good pork recipe and this is one we love making on repeat. The flavors are pure perfection!
Cabbage Soup by Wholesome Yum: If you’ve never had cabbage soup, you’re definitely missing out. The flavors in this are so good and it’s basically the poster child recipe for summer.
Crockpot Shredded BBQ Chicken by A Girl Worth Saving: BBQ is one of my favorites, but especially during the summer! This shredded BBQ chicken is perfect for sandwiches along with a variety of other dishes.
Creamy White Chicken Chili by Joy Filled Eats: I love a good chili recipe – especially white chicken ones. They’re the perfect choice for summer and this is soooooo good!!
Blueberry Dump Cake by My Heavenly Recipes: Blueberries are so perfect in the summer and I won’t lie… I wish I could get them this good year round. This dump cake has the perfect blueberry goodness without ever turning on an oven. It’s a keeper for sure!
Portobella Mushroom Chicken by Cutefetti: I’m a huge mushroom fan, personally. For all you others out there that share my love, this is a must try!! The chicken and mushroom flavors are a match made in heaven. Sooooo good.
Mango Salsa Slow Cooker Chicken by Cutefetti: I don’t know what it is about mango salsa… but it just screams summer to me. Add it with some chicken though and you can pretty much guarantee I’ll be stuffing it in my mouth. Needless to say, this is a must try recipe!
Slow Cooker Buffalo Chicken Sliders by Simply Stacie: I LOVE sliders during the summer! These buffalo chicken sliders are so full of flavor is absolutely delicious. You might want to double this recipe, they’re that good.
Slow Cooker Chicken Cacciatore Recipe by Wholesome Yum: If you like flavorful chicken, you will love this one! It has so many great flavors and is truly drool-worthy. We love this paired with pasta or potatoes. That does require heating up the stove, but it’s worth it for this one!
Slow Cooker Spinach and Artichoke Dip I will admit… spinach and artichoke dip is one of my guilty pleasures. This one is an incredible recipe and if I didn’t make a pot full, it would be gone within minutes. Perfect paired with your favorite crackers or bagel!
Slow Cooker Italian Meatloaf by Its Yummi: Oh how I love a good meatloaf! It’s one thing I used to miss in the summer as I am just not willing to turn on the oven for it. This slow cooker recipe is pretty delicious though. I’m certain you’ll be satisfied with the flavors in this recipe!
